Children's Education in Biodiversity Conservation in Manica Province, Mozambique
- Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)
Some of the people who are in Biodiversity Conservation started to fall in love when they were growing up, this is my particular case, so I think that if we could help our young brothers by letting them know more about biodiversity conservation and its role worldwide, climate changes, for example, would be useful for those who will work in Conservation in the future, they will start as early as possible and this will be wonderful for their achievements.
Many of the world’s ecosystems have undergone significant degradation with negative impacts on biological diversity and peoples’ livelihoods, (Gann & Lamb 2006).
These elements are critical to successful ecosystem management. Ecological restoration should:
- Improve biodiversity conservation
- Improve human livelihoods
- Empower local people
- Improve ecosystem productivity
So helping with Children's Education, will also have a big impact on the process of restoration because we are going to have future leaders who are well-educated about biodiversity conservation.
Extensive ecosystem restoration is increasingly seen as being central to conserving biodiversity and stabilizing the climate of the Earth. Although ambitious national and global targets have been set, global priority areas that account for spatial variation in benefits and costs have yet to be identified, (Strassburg et al. 2020).
This project will specifically focus on the development of children in biodiversity education, thus we will prioritize essential equipment for the educational process. In this project, there will be fixed costs and variable costs, which are: teaching materials (printed t-shirts, caps for the team and some children), paper, cardboard of different sizes, watercolors, pens and markers for drawing, posters with content related to biodiversity, transportation of coats for the team to the districts and lunch for the team and the children.

Billion Trees Uganda Limited
As the planting season draws to a close, the dedicated team at Billion Trees Uganda, led by eco-warrior Atwongyeire Joseph, is working tirelessly to maximize their impact. This initiative aims to reforest part of western Uganda by planting one million trees, a critical step in our fight against climate change.
Every contribution counts, and your support in these final days of the planting season is crucial. We have made incredible progress, but need an additional $550 to cover the final costs. Just $550 will go a long way to ensure we cover the season’s expenses. Your donations will be immediately forwarded to Atwongyeire Joseph to bring more community volunteers on board, cover transportation to the planting sites, and provide meals for the volunteers while they work.
